Vessel Seaworthiness:
On a regular basis, prior to a season of use, for a potential sale evaluation, or a pre-insurance survey, use OC Yacht Services to inspect you vessel for seaworthiness. You will receive a comprehensive report on the condition of all inspected systems, prioritized and categorized into three main areas:
- Systems that present danger or potential costly failures that must be fixed immediately!
- Areas that may eventually cause problems and should be on the "want to fix soon" list!
- Items that do not present a near term problem, but can be remedied for general value.
Vessel Safety:
Make sure your vessel is safe and up to date with all current safety equipment - including fire extinguishers, distress signals, and life preservers. Be ready for a US Coast Inspection, or a USCG Vessel Safety Check with this multi-point inspection. OCYS can assist with coordinating fire suppression services, and/or assist in the procurement of current safety equipment.
Insurance Survey Preparedness:
Insurance companies require periodic surveys to validate the condition of your vessel. Use OC Yacht Services to do an inspection of your vessel prior to a costly inspection. We can help prepare your vessel and make repairs in advance.
